NUTRITIONFACTS.ORG

NUTRITIONFACTS.ORG is brought to you by the Jesse & Julie Rasch Foundation in partnership with Michael Greger M.D.

Dr. Greger scours nutrition-related research, as published in scientific journals, and brings that information to you in short, easy to understand video segments.  The site also provides links to the original journal articles whenever possible so that you can source the information directly, if you so desire.

Cultured Food

Cultured food is recently creating lots of buzz but has been around forever.

Here is a great website that includes lots of information and some pretty good recipes for fermented foods.  Yum!
I am looking forward to learning more about these gut-healthy way recipes.

FORA.tv

I found an interesting website called FORE.tv. Two nutrition videos that I enjoyed are:

Don't Eat Anything with a Face which is debate between Dr. Neal Barnard, Gene Bauer, Chris Masterjohn and Joel Salatin about whether eating meat is healthy or ethical.  See it at Don't Eat Anything With A Face

Another is the The Future of Meat which discusses meat replacement alternatives at The Future of Protein Meat

FreshPaper - make your healthy investment last longer!

I watched a TEDTalks presentation called "Can a Simple Piece of Paper Change the Way We Eat?" about the discovery of a paper infused with herbs that can prolong the freshness of produce 2 to 4 times longer in the refrigerator.

This is a wonderful "green" product that can encourage people to buy more fresh produce and reduce the spoilage that causes a waste of money.
